Note: Animal coats should be cleaned and brushed before cutting to remove dirt and knots in the coat. If blades are snagging or not cutting they should be thoroughly cleaned and oil. Oil before use and regularly during the cut. It is essential to keep the blades free of hair during cutting as this will clog the blade and prevent it cutting, more so when a comb is attached to the blade.
